Settings reference
Every Lidless switch and what it does.
Switches
| Setting | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Keep awake | Off | Holds a system power assertion so the machine won't idle-sleep. The display still sleeps normally. |
| Only when plugged in | Off | Pauses keep-awake on battery; resumes automatically when power is connected. |
Platform notes
Uses an IOKit PreventUserIdleSystemSleep assertion — the same mechanism the OS
uses internally. Verify with pmset -g assertions.
Window behavior
Closing the window minimizes Lidless to the tray; it keeps running in the background. There is no dock icon.
